Interactive film

Just installed an interactive film in the entrance to the new York City Council building. The building is the old railway station. The old fashioned station master is triggered by movement in the entrance hall and undertakes a series of welcoming gestures and dances activated by  people as they walk through the space.

Massive thanks to Sebastien Boyesen, Laurence Pearce, Beam, York City Council and local actor Ian Giles.

The Telegraph - The week in pictures

Last weeks latest laser project 'Stitch' is featured in the online Telegraph and chosen for their Week in Pictures. The project is part of Global Footprint, a commission run by Graham Callister to celebrate the rich shoe industry of Northamptonshire.

With Stitch we shone 8 lasers across the Nene Valley to connect Barkers shoe factory with Dr Martens four and half miles away making a giant stitch of light in the sky. Pictures to follow.

Resin and light

Andrew Hilton has taken some new images of the resin and light piece I made earlier this summer. The light changes colour with the wind.
