Cultural Olympiad Cargoes
I made a tea set for the second phase of this Ignite project Cargoes run by Rick Hall, Hasmita Chavda and Amy Turner. The tea set is a tribute to the Canal and Mills and their engineers.

Secret Cinema
I was contacted by Secret Cinema to contribute to their amazing work
( http://www.secretcinema.org/ ). I designed a vapour filled laser table for them as part of the interactive otherworldly experience that the public have before they see the secret film on one of the three film screens. Secret Cinema have taken over a large disused building in Euston and constructed a myriad of installations taking the public into another world and frame of mind before watching the secret film.

Lighting sculpture
For the last two nights we have been installing another lighting sculpture. Fifteen thousand liquid crystal beads illuminated by colour changing LEDs which change colour as the wind speed varies. The form visually connects the interior and exterior of the building.
The interior atrium sculptural light is 5 metres high and the exterior is 3.5 metres.
Massive thanks again to Sebastien Boyesen and Simon.

Light Calling, Daventry
Light Calling laser art event took place on Monday evening on Borough Hill, Daventry in torrential rain. Four 7.8w lasers, sited on the four massive concrete bases of the old transmitter, created a vast pyramid of light referencing the old transmitter masts which once graced this fantastic site until the final BBC World Service transmission from here 20 years ago.
This event and images are part of Breath of Fresh Air's 'Cargoes' project run by Rick Hall, Amy Turner and Hasmita Chavda and dovetailed with Graham Callister's input from Northamptonshire County Council plus help from Katie Jones at Daventry District Council.
On the night local historian David Adams lead the public on an historical walk around the site before the lights went on and then Chrys Allen undertook a nocturnal art walk concluding at the laser pyramid.
The lasers collided with low flying clouds and the evening was captured by Andrew Hilton.
Thanks to Rick Hall, Amy Turner, Hasmita Chavda, Graham Callister, Dal Badial, Darren Elston, Andrew Hilton, Katie Jones, Chrys Allen, David Adams, the photographers who have been following these laser projects, and the public.

National Lift Tower, Northampton
Last night was the final night of lighting the National Lift Tower, Northampton (locally known as the Lighthouse since Terry Wogan referred to it as that). We shone the 20w laser on a north/south axis which then swapped to a east/west axis every 30 seconds. We also washed two sides of the tower with colour changing LED's on a 5 minute programme.
Massive thanks to Graham Callister, Dal Badial, Darren, Kevin Roach and his team and Ed.

Light Calling.
Another photograph from Wednesday nights laser testing on Borough Hill, the location of the final BBC World Service transmission from this site in Daventry. The transmissions were always started with the phrase 'Daventry Calling'.
