Burnley 3d animated zoetropes

The 3d hand cranked animated zoetropes are nearing completion ready for installation. There are 20 x 3d printed figures all in slightly different positions to create the animation when the strobe light is turned on. A magnet under each figure makes sure that the timing of the light coming on is always synced with the placement of a figure.

The 3d printed figures are housed within the white powder coated column, rotate by means of a hand crank and viewed through a viewing slot.
